Notes

No mods. This is a relatively mindless knit other than needing to keep track of rows, although I’m getting a little over it, i.e. ready for it to end. This is why I don’t knit bigger things.

Pattern was easy to memorize. I will definitely make one for me, as I really love it. The Cotton-Ease will make it very cozy and durable, and it can be thrown in the wash. I’ll just make it when I have time to knit a little here and there so it doesn’t get too monotonous.

4/20 - Finished! I love this, and if I didn’t love my mom so much, I’d keep it for myself. Definitely making one for me. After I got over the monotony of the knitting, it kind of became a nice mindless thing to do in the evening, and I didn’t mind so much.

The yarn is really drapey. I love working with it, because it is cotton, but it has stretch, so it doesn’t hurt my fingers so much. I ended up using just 4 skeins with 16 g left over. Ran out of time, and it’s really long enough to cover fingertip to fingertip with extra left over. I might make mine with 5.
