This is my first pair of real socks. I mean with a heel and all. Up to now I’ve only knit spiral socks without a heel.
And I must say, I’m hooked! These socks were sooo much fun to knit! I think that’s mostly because of the fun colourful yarn. And they were also super quick, because the yarn was 6-ply. It only took me the three extended versions of the Lord of the Rings movies to finish them (ok, there might have been an episode of the Great British Sewing Bee in there as well) ;-)
They turned out a little bit big for me, but that just makes them more cozy!
I can’t wait to get my hands on another fun ball of colourful sock yarn!
