I rewrote this pattern from mostly scratch. I made it top-down in the round, based on measurements for another shirt I own. I also adjusted the cables to have a more constrained area for the larger ones, resulting in a sort of striped down the front, back, and sleeves.

Issues:

• I did not get the orientation right when joining in the round, so I ended up with a sharp twist around the shoulder when I fixed that 20-30 rows in.
• My gauge was over-optimistic. It was difficult to get a good estimate with the random cables; and it ended up snug all-around. It fits, but I’m afraid I might damage the yarn with too much pulling.
• The neck was too wide.

It ended up not fitting me very well; but it fits Erika well enough to make it hers.

sleeve length (from underarm): 19”

6/8/13: Finished body. Did 5 rounds on right sleeve, decided I need 3.5” needles to do traveling loop. Hibernating until those arrive.

9/7: Received needles; bringing out of hibernation.

9/22: Finished right sleeve. Length is good, but the shoulder is pulled down a bit far -- especially because the armhole is pretty tight. Picked up an extra 7 or 8 stitches on the left arm to (hopefully) help alleviate that problem.
