My first sweater in more than one color, a very gentle/easy introduction to intarsia knitting. It was exciting to choose colors. I swatched this pattern with one blue and three shades of grey (charcoal, light grey, and pearl), but wasn’t so impressed: it needed real colors. So now it pairs nicely with my deep purple shirt, several green shirts, and blue shirts or jeans.

The neck as directed in the pattern is, for me, freakishly large: I reduced it substantially and could have made it one or two stitches snugger still.
