This will be 2023’s Epic SpaceCadet Mini Skein Project! It’ll be a slow progress since I’ll be waiting for each month and knitting with them as soon as they arrive in the mailbox.

February 2023
Starting with January’s Ester bundle. After knitting with each mini skein, each skein have weighed 15 grams. Except for the first mini skein, assuming it used one more gram for cast on and set up rows.

June 2023
After some thought, I redid the whole shawl, just to make the shawl wider. I casted on and extra 60 stitches, having 180 stitches on the needle so I could have 3 panels of chevron.

February 2024
Due to my wrist injury on July 2023, my knitting slowed down a lot. Most likely my tension have also changed but I still seem to use 5 to 8 grams per mini skein. This pattern doesn’t use a lot from the mini skeins. Not even half. So this pattern is great for lots of mini skeins that are 5 grams. Maybe alittle less since I added an extra pattern repeat of the panel. I did block the shawl aggressively but I wonder how big it would be if I had 4 repeats of the pattern instead of two. Next time I knit this pattern, I might try that. And maybe I’ll use icord edges to help hide the ends. This pattern also shows off the gradients nicely.
