2-Mar-2018: Cast-on tonight starting with ‘marine’ which is kind of a dusky darker blue as I prefer muted tones vs bright generally. When looking at this wrap, something seemed ‘missing’ and as I looked through those that had made the project, I realized it was missing the blue! Will do first two sections in blue, then once yellow started, the yellow/red to complete.

This is planned to be my ‘drive-in wrap’ to keep chill off when running up to restrooms or concessions (and most likely, to work on while waiting for it to get dark enough for the movie to start for at least part of the drive-in season!).

5-Mar-2018: I can see this is gonna take a bit, while it is fairly fast so far to knit.. as I’m making the larger size, it’s not THAT fast in the time set aside for knitting. I’m now 1/2 way through the very first section. While this isn’t lace, I’m making use of lifelines to ensure low crying should something happen (it had been so long since I’d used a lifeline I promptly knit my stitch markers into it /sigh.. at least I could get all but 1 out which I’ll reclaim at the next lifeline when I can remove the current one).
