Modified somewhat based on ZaKimbell’s modifications. CO 48, knit in stockinette stitch for 16 rows, made holes for drawstring, stockinette for 4 rows, k5 m1, stockinette for 4 rows, k5 m1, stockinette until big enough, and then decrease every row for a flatter bottom.
