One of my very first knitting projects! I specifically wanted to finish it in time for the Goblet of Fire movie in November 2005, so I spent all autumn working on it nonstop- to the point that I became known for it around my high school XD

I don’t remember what yarn I used, though considering it was purchased at a Michael’s in the 00s, it was definitely something acrylic and probably not very expensive (I was on a teenager’s budget). iirc the dark green was Red Heart yarn and the silver was…something else…that was a slightly different weight….because all the silver stripes ended up narrower than the green ones D: And I didn’t block it, because I was 15 and didn’t feel like it, I guess????

Even though I’ve distanced myself from Harry Potter and anything JKR related, I’m still wearing my scarf, because:

1. it took a damn long time
2. it’s super cozy
3. it’s something I’m really proud of having made
4. it’s wasteful to just trash it D:
5. 20 years of wearing the same scarf every winter is a hard habit to break!!!!
