I love this hat! I’m so glad my first attempt at a plain stockinette slouchy hat turned out ridiculously huge because I’m so much happier with this one. The lace pattern is slightly obscured by the tweediness of the yarn, but it still gives it a nice texture.

My head is a little bigger than the pattern’s range for the large size (24” and the pattern says up to 23.5”), but because of the ribbing-like stitch pattern, the hat is super stretchy and fits fine!

I only knitted for 8.5” (instead of 9.5”) before starting the crown decreases because I’m not planning on wearing it with the ribbing rolled up, and the hat was plenty long enough for me at that point.
