Lovely easy pattern with great photos and clear instructions. I think it was about 11 A4 pages!

I used Drops Safran cotton yarn in four different colours. Substitued the star on head for a flower!

I embroidered the eyes and mouth as it is a present for a young baby.

If I was doing it again I think I would make the tentacles with a tighter spiral, 3 sc into each stitch instead of 2 sc as per the pattern.
