Ugh, I wanted this to work so badly, but even the preemie hat is huge using worsted yarn. I should have taken out a whole repeat, then it might have worked. Either way, never doing this again, and probably never a double knit item that needs a size, maybe a scarf….

Because I’m using worsted/aran yarn, I’m using the Preemie pattern to get the correct gauge.
