Gauge took 25 mins. Unblocked, about 16 sts/in, 18 rows/in. Easily stretches to 12~13 sts/in, still looking good. Should be fine.

Nov 28 - 1 hr 35 mins. These half-hour rows are killing me!
Nov 29 - 3 hrs 45 mins. Had to frog the first colorwork round, as I had purled one stitch too late. T_T Total 5h20m.
Nov 30 - 40 mins. Total 6 hrs. Very rough estimate for completion is 60 hours.
Nov 31 - 2 hrs 25 mins. Attached second skein of red. Total 7h45m.
Dec 2 - 4 hrs. (Yikes.) Better estimate for completion is now around 35 hours, plus time to crochet button bands and add buttons, so… 40 hours. Total 11h45m.

Dec 10 - 15 minutes. Back from a week off to recover after giving myself some nice tendonitis. Guess I can’t knit 4 hours a day.

Jan 4 - 25 mins. Attached 3rd skein of red. Turns out it was likely radial tunnel, not tendonitis. Total 12h25m.

Feb 4 - 50 mins. Total 13h45m.

Mar 11 - 35 mins. Attached 3rd skein of white. New estimate is ~ an additional 9 hrs for the end of the knitting, and I’ll estimate 7 hours for sewing, steeking, adding in the button band and buttons, etc. So new total estimate is about 36 hrs. Total 20h5m.
Mar 12 - 1 hr 25 mins. Total 21h30m.
Mar 13 - 1 hr 30 mins. Accidentally skipped a row, 3 rows back. Frogged back to the mistake and started back up. Total 23h.
Mar 14 - 1 hr 40 mins. Attached 5th skein of red. Cruising along now with only the red part left. Total 24h40m.
Mar 15 - 1 hr 25 mins. Total 26h5m.
Mar 16 - 1 hr 20 mins. Total 27h25m.
Mar 20 - 35 mins. Aaaand the knitting is done! Still have to weave in ends, sew, steek, crochet the button bands, sew on the buttons…. but the knitting is done. Total 28h.
Mar 21 - 1 hr 45 mins. All hand sewing is complete. Next up, machine sewing and steeking. Total 29h45m.

2022 - you know what? This is finished enough for my purposes. It doesn’t need steeking or buttons.
