This yarn is very warm and I love the sheep smell. I washed it several times successfully and then felted it slightly right before this photo was taken :( I’m not sure what did it… possibly water temperature.

I love the aran motif and will use it again. The sweater was knit, bottom up, knitting front+back at the same time. I divided for the armholes, and sewed the sleeves in. I picked up the neck to knit the shawl collar, and picked up the front edge to knit the front bands. Belt loops were crocheted on.

Things I would fix next time:
-Short sleeve cap
-Wider sleeve at cuff
-Longer jacket
-Waist decrease higher up, slightly above waist
-Belt loops slightly above waist
-Neckline higher and tighter so that resultant shawl collar sits better
-Re-enforce button hole bands with grosgrain ribbon
-NO MACHINE WASHING!
