I loved this pattern from the first time I saw it. The frill had me.
I found the pattern in a vintage book “Priscilla Doilies To Crochet No. 334”, a Coats & Clark’s publication.

I could not complete this doily as per the pattern, it simply would not work for me.
The doily had a total of 58 rounds. I completed up to and including round 40. The last round I completed (round 41) is totally my doing and not on the pattern.

Sadly, I must find another pattern I like with a frill, I am sure I will. Not meant to be this time around.
