5/16 cast on and made it through my first flower chart, hoping the size it okay, there’s no gauge recommended on the pattern…

5/18 finsihed with 4 flower repeats, I’ve ended up with extra stitches & not enough and ripped back a few rows, ended up making 2 extra stitches, will see how it looks in the end but the last repeat knit okay

5/19 started over, I kept ending up with the wrong number of stitches, I hate being outsmarted by a knitting pattern, anyhow starting over and made it through one pattern repeat trying a size 3 needle instead of a 0

Finally made it through the hurdles with this one. Definitely not a project for social knitting or simultaneous movie watching, but enjoyable none the less, and such a beautiful end product. I did 9 repeats and then did the border, which takes up quite a bit of space. I was worried about it being too big but it worked out.

And when the bride wore it, it made it all worthwhile!
