BRIM:
6 rows of 2x2 rib

BODY:
Row 1, 3, 5: (k4,p4)
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12: knit
Rows 7, 9, 11: (p4,k4)

Repeat 3 times plus rows 1-5, 41 rows total

CROWN DECREASE:
1) 3 rows of 2x2 rib
2) using 2 strands of yarn, thread one strand through all purl stitches and remove those stitches from the loom. 3) 3) Next thread the second strand thru the knit stitches and remove them from the loom.
4) Turn hat inside-out and pull on both ends of strand holding purl stitches… be careful not to lose any stitches.
5) Do the same for the strand holding the knit stitches.
6) Tightly sew up the hole at the top of the hat, secure the yarn ends and trim.

Finished hat weighs 1.3oz with worsted yarn
