I’m using two strands of worsted yarn held together instead of chunky/blanket yarn. A solid, bold color really shows off this busy pattern.

The finished blanket weights 3lbs 6oz. I had 4 skeins of Caron One Pound with 10oz leftover of the 4th skein.

Each pattern repeat (20 rows) is producing 5 inches of length.

For the smooth edge, I’ve added one stitch on each edge and I’m using the “slip purlwise-purl“ method.

Important Note: pattern says to end “on 6th or 16th row”. To clarify… knit row 5 or 15 and then stop, otherwise, you’ll get a row of stockinette that looks out of place.
