Notes

So glad I found this super easy pattern and stash buster. The blanket is knitted with two strands of worsted and has an icord edge. I had a pile of Super Saver Icelandic yarn (not sure why I ever bought it) when I came across this pattern from Stephen West. PERFECT! I’ll use this pattern again and again and reduce my yarn stash. The blanket stretches nicely across our Queen sized bed and weighs 2lbs 9oz (about 41oz or 21oz each of two colors). I threw it in the wash and it’s so soft :)

I’ve already begun another with about six colors of worsted scrap yarn.

Finished a 2nd blanket today using scraps of Hobby Lobby I LOVE THIS YARN. I was surprised how different the blankets are with dimensions and weight. This second blanket with different yarn has a smaller width and heavier. I used 52.6 ounces and that works out to be 7.5 skeins of this brand.
