I really enjoyed knitting this reversible unisex hat. It can be worn as a slouch beanie or fold the brim for more warmth around the ears. I used a crochet cast-on and knitted the pattern for the large size using needles US 6 for brim and US 8 for body. It looks a bit pointy at the top but it flattens on the head with the brim folded. Others have noted that they closed the hat with k2tog for rows 19-21 creating a rounded top… maybe next time. I closed the top with DPNs but will try magic loop next time.

My gauge was 3.5 stitches per inch.
The finished hat weighed 3.3oz
Hubby’s head circumference is 22.5”
