Notes

Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

This pattern is a lot easier than it looks :-)

…oh crappers! I am using smaller needles than I meant to…ah well.

Finished all the knitting part. Now to block and sew…

I am so slack. Ok, today is sew up day as I am probably gifting tomorrow. Must remember to take photos of finished gloves. :-)

OH DEAR! Sewed up one glove and discovered it is quite snug. The recipient may want them slightly looser for comfort. Dang it all having to make them all over again before tonight, using the larger needles recomended…..Arse!

Ok, frogged and reworked using 3.5mm, blocked and sewn up one whole glove and half the other. The slight change in needle size makes a big difference! These are quite small gloves really, not standard adult women’s size and certainly they are snug around the arm. I would suggest making one whole glove first to see if the fit is going to be right before making all 4 medalions and blocking. I know it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. Going up a needle size is not a bad idea.

30th Jan - All sewn up and gifted :-)

Two ball of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino will make you 3.5 gloves or 7 medalions.
