First things first. Must write out pattern. Cannot work from a dusty booklet from 1953.

Not using the crochet cast on. I’m not that crazypants.

Issue with Round 35 that causes Round 37 to not fit properly. Made it work and moving on. Everything seems to be back on track now on Round 39.

Another issue with Round 41. Dropping a yarn over on Round 43 takes care of it. However, this nonsense is getting old.

Half ways through Round 57 and I’m starting my second ball. Not sure I see how this pattern calls for 1k yards.

Used just under 2 balls.

Used a size 9 crochet hook for cast off.

Really do not enjoy the crochet cast off.

Re-homed to my darling girlfriend, Elizabeth, where it will have a much better life than it ever would with me.
