For the body I used needlesize 3mm in order to meet the gauge of 21 stitches.

What a joyous knit it was! Natasja of Moonstruckknits succeeded another time in designing a lovely and outstanding knitting design with this BLOEM sweater!
It is not an easy one for beginners but more advanced knitters will be very pleased with some challenges this pattern offers.

I knitted a size 5 and made the body about 7 cms longer for a personal preference. I also lengthened the sleeves to a measure of 48 cm, since I happen to have long arms .
The used yarn matches the given measures of the pattern, but I used needle size 3 instead of 3,5 for bod and sleeves and 2,5 for the ribbing.

I used 370 g (1110 m) of the cerise pink shade and 215 g ( 645 m) of the pink ( Rosa Ljus) yarn.

I would advice to pick a yarn with most wool and certainly NOT a superwash, for a bit ‘stickiness’ of the fibers makes it easier to get good results for the pattern, especially in technical details like the contrast lines in the raglan and the edges of the shoulder saddles.
