Nice shawl pattern and interesting yarn to work with.

I found the pattern recommendation for an 8mm hook to be good advice (and it made the shawl quick to work up ).

This yarn is new to me, but I like it. I think it’s more of a heavy worsted than the usual worsted. Either way, I found it works up a treat.

Pattern is well written and easy to follow.
I particularly liked the edging rows of stitches and will definitely use them again on something.

Shawl turned out a little larger than pattern (I hadn’t bothered to check guage…), but that was okay because I could omit 2 of the last rows and it still worked out pattern size.
