I love stained Glass patterns so I’m pleased I found this one.
Pattern is in UK terms, but no problem once you get going.
It’s a well-written pattern, with help to make your work neat as possible.
Fairly quick to make and interesting too.

Although I followed directions on yarn weight and hook size, my mandala did turn out a little larger (26cms), so too big to fit the recommended 25cm ring.
So, I blocked my work which added a little more size and then wip stitched it to a 30cm ring and I think it looks fine.

I didn’t have any black yarn, so used dark navy, but the difference hardly shows.
Covered a silver ring with the navy thread and added matching beads to the hanging thread.
I will probably add tassels with matching beads later, hence this still marked as a wip.

Edit:added some beads on tassels.
Now it’s finished

This is a very enjoyable and very effective pattern.
Will definitely use it again.
