My first attempt at thread crochet, so it took longer than usual to do.

I crochet tightly when using new patterns, so used a 2mm hook, but my doily is still only 11 inches diameter.
Will crochet a little looser next time

Excellent pattern with excellent instructions.
Nevertheless, I still had a couple of places I had to go back and redo. A case of thinking ahead rather than actually reading the pattern.
Once I worked out that the instructions are just as they should be, I was fine.

Will try another of this designer’s patterns soon.
