I recreated the pattern in the round and it worked beautifully! I added 4st to the top of the thumb in the round for 15st and it’s perfect as well. Love them! I ended up being short on yarn so I had to eliminate 4 garter rows as well as 3 rows of stockinette on the palms, I also matched my changes to the thumb (-1row stockinette, -2 garter rows). It still fits great.

FYI the book has an error on the thumb increase, make sure to swap the right thumb increase row 7 with row 5, the pattern is correct on the left thumb.
