I was very excited to find this pattern at Tess’ Designer Yarns. I love that shop! And the yarn is not only beautiful, but wonderful to knit with.

I’m having a difficult time with the pattern, though. The set up of the pattern itself is hard to follow in paragraph form with no bold areas between rows.

Also, the stitch counts aren’t correct on almost every round. There is a missing * in front of the “inc 1 st next st…etc” of Row 8. That messed me up quite a bit.

I’ll try to keep track of other errors in the pattern as I go. They are easy to fix, but do cause some frustration.

Otherwise, the sweater is looking very cute and the yarn is fantastic.

Final thoughts:

Well, I was disappointed with the way the sweater came out. Even though the sweater is knit flat, after I added the crochet button bands, the front pieces don’t line up. Also, there was no crochet hook size indicated, which was annoying. I loved the yarn and knitting with it, but the pattern was frustrating.
