Simply gorgeous shawl pattern paired with lovely yarn (my first time using Mrs Crosby Hat Box). This made for a very fun project that I would recommend to anyone, both the pattern and the yarn!

I especially love the continuous i-cord and i-cord tab cast-on used in the pattern and will use it again in future shawls. For help, Stephen has a wonderful series of tutorials on YouTube specifically for the Exploration Station starting with the i-cord tab cast-on.

For grafting the last six stitches of the bind off I found these instructions (Stephen West on YouTube) on applying the Kitchener stitch/graft to a three stitch i-cord bo very useful. (If you know the Kitchener by heart, just imagine that the last three stitches on your needle are stitches from an imaginary provisional cast on and that these are the stitches you need to graft to the other three stitches on your needle, if that makes sense. If not and you need more clarity, check out the above link for a video step by step how-to.)
