http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fingerless-mitten...
These mittens are soft and very stretchy. This pair is a an Adult Small size.

Basic knitting skills are all that’s needed - these are easy to make. You could make a few pairs this weekend!

Directions for 4 sizes:
Adult XS (Child Medium)
Adult SM (Child Large)
Adult Medium (Women’s)
Adult Large ( Men’s Medium)

This 5 page pattern is loaded with photos. Mittens come in two lengths - regular and long - for each size.

The mittens are knit on double pointed needles (no side seams), using 2 strands of yarn together. 2 pages show 8 different sets of yarns to use. You will feel inspired by this pattern. Any set of worsted weight & novelty yarn will do - maybe use your ‘stash’.

Leave your mittens plain or go ‘Fancy’ - here’s the BONUS:
4 pages of Fancy Appliques will be sent with your mitten pattern. These instructions show how to make your own appliques of leaves, flowers, butterflies, and lady bugs. WOW! You can make a gazillion different combinations - something for everyone!
