Yarn: Painted Desert is beautiful! Cascade Pine is a great color and knits up well, but bleeds and rubs off while knitting.

7/21/13 Fudging numbers for an XL and larger arms. CO 118 in MC (Pine). Setup row 22 for sleeves, 64 for back.
Repeat last 2 rows 2 times. Repeat last 6 rows 8 times.
When change to st st, continue to do inc row 3, 4 more times.

7/22/13 Realized I missed 2 dec on back at some point, just going to go with it like that lol. @6 of 8 repeats.

7/23/13-7/28/13 Finished all increases. Split for sleeves. Put sleeves on my shortest hiyahiya cables, got to use my new HiyaHiya Panda cable stoppers:) Cast On 18 sts for each underarm. Back setup 68/140/68.

For stripes doing 9 sts of MC, 1 row K, 1 row P, 1 row K with CC (As seen RS). (Using this trick for odd number of stripes). Not going to do any waist shaping.

7/31/13 Started 2nd hank of MC after 4th CC stripe.

8/7/13 Started 1st ToeUpSock pocket, CO 36st/each needle (72sts total) using Judy’s Magic Cast On with extra stash yarn and Chiagoo 40” US2 2.75mm Red Lace. Knit in the round for 3.5”. Used up the 8 grams of midnight heather, + 1 row of merlot heather. To small to put phone in, so will make other pocket wider inside. Flipped pocket so knit side was inside.

Attached pocket, K10, Using yarn from sockpocket. Did three needle BO with inside of pocket facing outside of cardi, so seam would lie on inside of cardi when pocket dropped down. (See picture). Last BO stitch, slipped to other needle of pocket stitches. Using Cardi yarn, k across pocket, k2tog, last 2 stitches, purled back, then k across pocket again, then continued to k across cardi, will stop to add second pocket at end - 46.
8/8/13-8/11/13 2nd SockPocket, CO 50/needle this time. Knit all rounds until ~3.5” high(large enough for phone). Started decreasing, K1,ssk, k to 3 before end of side, k2tog, 1k, repeat for other side. Repeat dec until 30 stitch each side. Attach to body same as 1st pocket.
Continue stripes until cover the pockets.

8/12/13 - 8/28/13 Finished last CC stripe. 40grams Total CC used on body. 3 more rounds of MC, cap cable for now, doing garter after sleeves done incase I run out of the heritage green. Started 1st sleeve. K in CC across held stitches, picked up and k 9, pm, picked up and k 9, k across to marker. Switched to MC at beginning of round. Continued to do 9 MC, 1k1p1k of CC stripes. After first stripe set started decreases. Will do dec round on first round of MC. Dec 2 sts on first MC row of each stripe. Did 13 stripes. Ended with 2 rounds of MC, switched to KP green and did 24 rounds (12ridges) of garter. Ended with 3st ICord BO with CC. Duplicated for second sleeve.

8/29-9/2/13 With KP green did 24 rows (12ridges) of garter. Did 3st ICord BO with KP green. Pickedup stitches for Collar/Button Band. Did 12 rows of garter. Did not do button holes. May put in zipper later. Did Short rows as written in pattern. Added 2 more rows of garter. Did 3st ICord BO in CC. Wove in all ends. Still need to soak and block. Heritage Green bled alot on swatch so will need to deal with that.
