Another pattern I created form a german pattern. Danke, “Omas Strickgeheimnisse”!! The pattern is mostly this beautiful cabled column with a smaller column of lacework as an accent on one side. I don’t know why I decided to space the columns so far apart, but the effect is a striking one. I purposefully used a way too large gauge to get a really drapey effect. It probably should be blocked for best effect :/ Despite that, the hand is amazing, and the look is really rustic. The Manos del Uruguay wool yarn is a bit scratchy, but so insulating!
