This shawlette was woven with hand-spun yarn from hand-dyed roving from my own lamb. I used my travel size Hillcreek Fiber Studio loom, which is my favorite size because it offers flexibility in design and is portable. I lined up five triangles, tip up then tip down etc; I believe that the stitch that I used to join them is the baseball stitch. A sixth triangle was attached, base to base, to the center triangle to cover a little more of my back. This shawlette drapes nicely and I’m quite pleased with the results. The collar is formed by simply folding over the portion at the back of my neck.
