March 31, 2012 - sewed the buttons on a trip to NYC. Glad I forged through ‘cuz I do love this sweater.

March 19, 2012 - made it through alternating yarn to keep the diamond pooling from happening. I would not recommend this yarn for this project. Better photo to come.

Jan 24, 2012 - I reknit the left side alternating from two different skeins of yarn and was able to keep it from pooling. I’ll have to continue alternating skeins as I continue, I think, so I don’t get fooled by plaid again.

Jan 9, 2012 - turns out I have two choices.

1. Frog the left half with the lighter pooled color or
2. Finish knitting the whole thing and then over-dye it… Which sound more like me… Winging it vs turning back. Never over dyed before, I guess I’ll try some swatches and see how it looks.

Jan 8, 20212 - BUMMER, the two sides on the front don’t match ‘cuz the yarn was lighter and the diamond pattern shows up more on the one side. What the heck do I do?

Dec 7, 2011 - up to row 81/arm holes on the back… Put on holder early to start the front two pieces simultaneously so I can see how much yarn I’m using up and if there’s room for lengthening with the math from my washed and dried swatch.
