Started the first sock on the way to IL for Christmas with my parents. I knit the cuff on a US 1 and quickly realized that the sock would be WAY too big if I continued with those needles. I moved down to 00s and it is finally fitting okay. This pattern grows a ton.

It is a pretty fun knit, even though it is slow going on 00s. Unfortunately, my 2 year old decided to “knit” on them for me as I looked away. She unraveled quite a few rows and I had to frog more to get it back on the needles.

This yarn is too splitty for my taste, and also a little hairy. I do love the colors, though.

These socks fit like a glove. I do think the pattern would show up a little better if they were a little baggier, but I don’t think I would like wearing them as much. Over all, I’m very happy with these.

Update after a quite a few washings and wearings: These have turned out to be my favorite socks. They fit so well. I just love this heel and plan to use it on future socks.
