9-17-11 - I cut this off the loom today, although this was really done days ago. I didn’t want to waste the warp! I love the finished project, as does my spouse! I kept my edges very even throughout and there is no variation in the width. Also no pattern mistakes, so I’m pretty proud of this one. He loves it and started using it already!

9-13-11 - My hubby loved my bookmark so much, he actually asked for one for himself. How could I resist?! I was so excited to get started on it, I found the perfect color blue that he said is his favorite color and warped my loom up in record time. I warped this a bit different from my bookmark, I put a black border, then a blue border, then another black before the patterning section. I charted the design I used for my bookmark, because I got confused (especially when tired!), so hopefully this will eliminate errors. I’ve woven quite a bit on it already, and will probably finish the weaving tomorrow. And trying to be frugal, I am planning on using the extra warp for another bookmark or key fob, but in a different pattern to keep my interest going. Its not very often that the spouse asks for me to make him things, so this was an exciting priority!
