I was given a huge bag of yarn by a friend’s grandmother, and combined it with yarn I already had.

I used a sc around the edge, and a picot at the tip of each square. It helped stop the “rolling” edge.

This blanket was easy and fun to make; but it used sooooo much yarn! About 3500 yards, which surprised me.

Its a gorgeous soft and WARM blanket. Very happy!
