List of mods:
-For the cast on, twisted rib and broken rib reduce by 6 stitches (42).

-only repeat broken rib 2X

-ignore stitch reductions (her wrists swell so I wanted to leave lots of room for layering with gloves) knit one round and then begin the thumb gusset.

-instead of waiting till 11 stitches begin knitting 2 non-increase rounds after 9 stitches and stop when you have 13 and place on a stitch holder.

-make one,Knit 4 rounds (for the palm)
-begin twisted rib continue for 8 rounds.
-cast off using http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGHItYwr1us but alternate knit and purl.

-return to thumb add 3 stitches (16)
-complete 6 rounds of twisted rib and use same cast off as hand.
