Interesting construction, but a few difficulties understanding what I was meant to do at times

I’m not going to have enough variegated to complete so have added in some contrast panels

If I knit this pattern again I would do more transition rows around the chest, I only did 2rows but in hindsight I think you were meant to do 3rows, if I did it again I would do 5rows

Variegated = 8ply (a coarse more like 10ply) unknown wool I got secondhand, used under 400grams
Purple = bendigo 10ply luxury purple storm
Green = spotlight 4 seasons pure wool 8ply colour 35, used about 75grams
Red = spotlight 4 seasons pure wool 8ply colour 07, used less than 50grams

Still a bit big on my daughter (intentionally over sized it), knit the 8/9yrs for my tall/slim 6yr old, but also slightly bigger guage so its more of a size10yrs. Bold and colourful for my bold and colourful daughter! Makes me think of Josephs coat of many colours

Not colours I would normally use (at least not in combination), but I’m continuing on my mission to find a legitimate use for wools that have been in my stash for various lengths of time without a project plan, many of which I’ve been gifted or purchased for prices too good to not get…
