My Gauge: 15 sts and 20 rows = 4”

Long-tail cast on (w/4 less stitches than called for to compensate for bulky yarn) for cuff

Work in st st for 3”, then switch to main stocking color (increasing 4 sts on first round)

Leg: 14 inches

1 extra gusset decrease round (46 stitches) because the foot looked too fat and goofy. I think 2 extra decrease rounds would be ideal.

Knit foot to 9” before starting toe decreases

Decrease toe to 6 sts, graft closed

One skein of RH in “Claret” makes 2 stockings with several yards of yarn to spare.
