Watch out!
Chart 6, rows 15-20 are tricky. Highly recommend adding a life line on row 14 and even numbered rows up to row 20.

The nubb stitch has two different directions.

On page page 2 under Chart 6 instructions it reads: “K1, YO, K1, Yo, K1.”

But on page 6 under the Legend it reads: K1, P1, K1, P1, K1. If the knitter didn’t read chart 6 instructions it looks like you only knit all five stitches together when the symbol is on the back, which would cause the knitter to have too many stitches. Beginner lace knitters might be confused since it reads like all the rest of the symbols as a one row stitch, when in fact this is a two-part (or two row) stitch in order to complete it.

I stitched both ways and found the YO version is more subtle and doesn’t stick out as much as the purl version. Both stick out, just one more than the other. I also found it is better to go very loose on those nubb stitches otherwise it is very difficult to knit five together. Ask me how I know!

Errata:

Chart 6, row 28: nupp at stitch 40 should be on row 29, stitch 40.
