Used the variegated Three Irish Girls for the moss stitch sections, but show off the lace, I used the semi-solid Sweet Georgia CashLuxe with a little sparkle. The colors blended perfectly. Ran just a tish short for the lace section with just one skein of Sweet Georgia, but think it worked out just fine.

Started this shawl a while ago on one of my son’s water polo team trips to Victoria, but took an extended break when I got to the lace section to finish other projects.

I wish that I had followed the designer’s tip for a stretchy edge along the neckline.

Not a difficult stitch pattern, but the edge stitches vary between rows. For proper shaping (the curve is just lovely), it is very important to keep track of the row that you are on. You just have to pay attention to where you are and mark your progress.

I love the effect of the i-cord cast off, particularly with this variegated yarn. Each stitch row shifts color.

Every little bit of extra thought (varying increases) or extra effort (i-cord bind off) is well worth it for the gorgeous results.

I wear this wrap all the time and it goes with everything.
