Sooo difficult to find the perfect yarn.

I chose Scheepjes colour crafter and hope it won’t become a blanket as it is a DK yarn (well, Sport in my opinion). But I really want the neon green and I couldn’t find a non-itchy fingering yarn in that color.

All that’s left is choosing the mohair: white, black or a green that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike my MC dark green.

Gauge swatch:
On 3,5mm: stitch gauge 21-22 (even 20st with mohair held together), row gauge 40. Squishy fabric.
On 3,0mm: stitch gauge 24-25, row gauge about 48. Sturdier fabric, but still soft.

I chose the 3,0mm needles because of the perfect gauge and also I like a dense fabric

Decided not to do the section 8 triangles.
I’ve tried to do them in stockinette, but the gauge ratio is so different than Garter that I’m afraid to end up with a warped shawl.

Instead I might knit a slightly undulating border and then start the optional wavy border.

Section 9 done.
Size is slightly larger than my Flowers Bloom shawl (cat for scale), which i find too small to be practical.
This one does fit around my neck like a scarf, however. I will wear it a few times to decide if it’s good like this or if it needs the wavy border.

It’s big enough!
Bound off with i-cord with a single strand of mohair.
The last row of bubbles tends to flip inside out a bit.
