Looked up the average chest size of a male Westie. Apparently it’s 20“ which is right between two sizes.
First step: Did the math and penciled in the changed stitch count in the pattern for 20 inch chest.
Now I just have to keep an eye on the length ( avaerage 13-14 inches from collar to tail).
Fast and fun knit.
I ran out of the blue when I did the ribbing around the body and striped it with White and Blue.
All bind offs are stretchy ( Jenni’s).
There is an errata for row two of the stripe pattern. Since it is worked flat the second row is a wrong side row and should start with P3 and finish with P4.
1.2.: Finished knitting and washed it, because the yarn has been sitting around a while and I want it to be fresh and ready to wear. Waiting now to dry to mail it off.
1.5. : It arrived in the mail and fits perfectly. It was a great hit for Harry and he kept sniffing it. Probably even after washing my scent is still in there; it’s smell mail.
