Notes

I am knitting these for a sock knitting class showing how to do cables without a cable. Doing them 2-at-a-time.
After nine rows of increases I ripped the socks back to the toes. My feet are very narrow (7.75 inches in circumference). The designer says that they have enough negative ease to fit even a woman’s foot. But although I am knitting to gauge, the socks were way too big. I switched the cables; knitting cables over 2 sts were it was over 4 sts originally and over 4 sts were it was over 2 originally. I also made the V’s more narrow. In all I have 34 sts in the Instep chart and 32 sts for the Back of Leg Chart; a total of 66 sts which is still more than I need, but works well due to the negative ease of the cables.
Doing all left leaning cables on one sock and right leaning cables on the other.
Could have finished them sooner, but hang back a bit to use them as work in progress for my class.
