Giving the double knitting technique a twirl, I am going to knit a simple potholder using the basic double knitting technique as described in this video : double knitting
And, not to forget, as a continental knitter this is even easier!
Cast in 33 sts with both colors.
For the colors I will use the multi summer print. As a second color I like the bright green, but am afraid that’s not enough and will use the chateuse , perhaps crochet a birder in green in the end.
Note to self: when I can go out again, but more basic cotton in different solids.
Design: I was thinking of a large letter F ( for Formby) as design, but don’t like how the reverse side would be a backwards F. Going for a shape or stripes instead.

It is big enough to hang on the stove to dry your hands.
I finished it with a buttonhole band and sewed one button on each side. This way I can hang it either way.
