I love this pattern. It looks so complex and sophisticated, yet it is so simple to work up.

I used yarn from stash and these were the only two colors I had enough of, but I think it will look good.
At 169yards per 100g instead of 190yards per 100g, this yarn is a little heavier, but that should make a sturdier basket.
Perhaps I should have used a bigger needle, because it was hard to work with this very thick yarn held double and my hands kept cramping, but I just had to pace myself and it came out beautifully.

March 16, 2021: starting on a second basked with the Peaches and Cream yarn; a gift for a friend. I am using the same needle sizes as before because I really like the sturdiness of my basket. So far it seems easier on my hands, but I am only just working on the bottom.
