Notes

A friend of mine commented that she likes both the style and colors of this shawl. I decided then and there to knit it for her next birthday. It took me a while and a few yarn stores to find the right blue and white, but finally found it when I took a road-trip with some friends to WEBS.
And funnily enough, I am knitting most of this while on a road trip and spending time ( February) in Florida. Her birthday is in March and this is a quick enough knit as long as you keep going a little each day. Not really car knitting, but good in the evenings after coming back to the Airbnb from the beach or other adventures.

I quite like look of the “dashes -“ of the w&t and deliberately don’t pick them up.
The pattern is very clear and well written.

One word of advice: It is a good idea to calculate the stitch count after each repeat or at least after each Part to keep track and assure oneself.

I had to re-do section V , because I ran out of stitches woman-shrugging
I ended up following Kaana’s Instructions and only did two repeats, then the last eight ridges. I attempted to do the math to see if it was carelessness on my part, but the jury is still out laughing
I do like how it turned out and hope that my friend will, too. smiling_face_with_3_hearts
