I like the construction of this shawl. The main body was so easy to knit; just garter stitch with increases up to the middle then decreases. I took it on the “road” when traveling. So I started it in the US, knitted most of the shawl in Germany and finished it back home in the US :) picking up stitches along the edge and knitting the mesh pattern and edging.. I should call it my intercontinental piece, but for the nice drape and flow I’ll call it “Düssel shawl” (as in Düsseldorf- where I come from; village by the river Düssel).
