A friend of mine makes these nice scrubbies and my DIL was quite taken by them as soap pads.
So, with some guidance from my friend I made this one. I couldn’t find netting as a ribbon to double with the red heart cotton scrubby yarn, but cut some netting into strips and then crochet it on the larger hook. First round SC, after that HDC until I ran out of the netting. Since it wasn’t big enough at this point I added a border in SC on the sides and HDC for the first round, DC for the second ( final) round. I doubled the red heart scrubby cotton with the peaches and cream cotton for this.
I am quite pleased with this. One stocking stuffer done white_check_mark
