The yarn was given to me by my neighbor during the town’s yard sale day and without thinking I said “ I will knit you a cowl”.
It is a mystery yarn, perhaps homespun and the contrast is not very strong. The yarn is also very thin and I am doubling it, thus juggling four balls total.
I am glad to do another project using the two handed one pass brioche method by the Sockmatician , it gives me more practice.
I will most likely not do the branches, but just the straight brioche.
When I was ready to bind off I worked one round of knit ( knitting the YO’s together with their sts ) and then bound off knitwise on a US size #5 needle. The resulting st st roll looks rather attractive.
